Dr. Kitcha Chaitanu, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with faculty members delivered Automated Thermometer, It was designed and constructed about 10 machinery by faculty of industrial studies and computer engineering technology, Faculty of Engineering, to Associate Professor Seensiri Sa-ngajit, acting of the President of RMUTL for use it to measure the temperature of students and the general before going to the building. Which was supported by a team of faculty, computer engineering, and it have fund about 237,675baht, to build 10 measuring machines and 2 prototypes.

Mr. Panudej Tipaksorn and a team of researchers Explaining the operation, “the thermometer uses the heat detection principle by the user has to stand in front of the THERMO SCAN at a distance of 10-20 centimeters, then the scan will displayed on the display area and the status red light to become yellow, waiting for the scan to disappear and the screen displays the measured temperature”

"This thermometer is connected to the internet and sends scan data into the university's system, which is displayed through a temperature measurement system that can determine where the machine is installed, how many users there are, how many people have abnormal temperatures, and how much density of use is available at any time, which can be reported immediately if someone is abnormal temperature to notify the authorities to take an action immediately." Mr. Panudej said at the end.

Assoc. Prof. Seensiri said “The University continues to measures prevent the outbreak of the Corona virus, such as measuring body temperature before entering the university, adding hand washing points in front of school buildings, office buildings and asking for cooperation with everyone who enters the university wearing cloth masks or masks. And would like to thank the Faculty of Engineering for developing this temperature monitor. The university will continue to install this measurement at various locations appropriately."
